This change is due to the insurance policy. I have attached the
letter so that everyone can have a copy of the notice. CSA

October 2011
Kathy and Klaus Ramsey graciously hosted an
amazing end-of-year party. In keeping with our tradition, food and
venue were outstanding. Thanks a million.
Just wanted to take this final opportunity to
formally thank the 2011 board (Tim, Lance, and Kathy) for all the
hard work and great support, this year. Our events were truly team
efforts and could not have been accomplished without each of your
valuable contributions. Thanks again to our scorekeepers and
announcers (Shannon and Julie), who ensured our events ran smoothly
and accurately, to our generous sponsors for their donations, and to
everyone else who helped during events. And most importantly,
thanks to all the Sin City Mounted Shooters and their families who
helped make 2011 our most successful year, ever!
It has been an honor and a pleasure serving as
your president for the last four years. Let me be the first to
congratulate Tim Ruiz (President), Mark Hinds (Vice President),
Carmela Jo Martinez (Secretary), and Tiffany Bonnell (Treasurer).
I am confident that this newly elected board will continue our
tradition of professionalism, exciting matches, fun practice events,
and will help take our club to the next level. Best of luck!
PS Look forward to shooting as a regular ole’
member, again. Woohoo!

The shoot will begin Saturday night at 6pm, and continue Sunday
Morning. Registration closes Friday night, the 10th, and

Expecting great weather, lots of prizes, and of course buckles for

Now for some news. Last weekend, six
members of Sin City Mounted Shooters represented their club proudly
in Flagstaff, Arizona and in Pismo Beach, California.
Tim and Shannon Ruiz competed in Flagstaff at a
2-day event in which Tim shot clean and claimed his first Men’s
Division 1 victory! Way to go, Tim.
On the west coast, yours truly and his faithful
companion, Turbo, took Men’s Division 3, as well as the overall
match title, claiming the 2010 California State Mounted Shooting
Championship for Nevada. My son, Mitchell and companion Jazzy,
brought back their first ever Wrangler Division title and is the
reigning California State Wrangler champion! Lance Ujifusa and
companion Garth ran exceptionally well in the Mens Eliminator event
against some fierce competition, taking home over $100 in cash. And
Concha Wade claimed the 3rd place prize in Lady’s

Thanks to all for representing your club
proudly and professionally. See you at State! And don’t forget to
